

LAHORE MIRROR — India’s women defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in the Women’s T20 Asia Cup in Dubai on Saturday.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat, but lost their first wicket for 27 runs, with Shawaal scoring 14 and Muneeba contributing 13. The remaining nine batters could add only 28 runs as Pakistan were bowled out for 55 in 18.1 overs.
The total was Pakistan women’s lowest-ever score in a T20 International. Shree Charani and Prema Rawat claimed three wickets each for India.
India comfortably chased down the 56-run target in the ninth over to seal a seven-wicket victory.
Fatima Sana was Pakistan’s standout bowler, taking three wickets.
