LAHORE– Senior Superintendent of Police Abdul Ghaffar Qaisrani has been appointed AIG Operations South Punjab against an existing vacancy, a notification issued by the Central Police Office says.
Mr Qaisrani, who belongs to 30th Common of Civil Service of Pakistan, has recently completed his senior management course (SMC) for the promotion to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG).
Considered as an upright and professional police officer among bureaucratic and public circles, Abdul Ghaffar Qaisrani has served Punjab as District Police Officer Nankana, Jhelum, Sialkot and Kasur, and SSP Security Lahore. Mr Qaisrani has also served Islamabad police.
