SP Bilal Zafar Reveals Weekly Performance Of Dolphin Squad, Police Response Unit
Patrolling officials recover bikes, cell phones, weapons and bullets from criminals, provide 63 citizens road help
LAHORE– Dolphin Squad and Police Response Unit (PRU) of Lahore police in their crackdown against criminals have recovered four bikes, 12 cell phones, five pistols, one rifle, one pump action, and four magazines and bullets in the last week.
SP Dolphins Squad Bilal Zafar while giving details of the weekly performance of both the wings Sunday informed that crime fighters of Dolphin Squad and PRU also recovered narcotics including charas and bottles of liquor from the accused criminals.
Promoting Community Policing, both Dolphins and PRU helped as many as 63 people on different roads of the city.
Dolphin Squad and PRU during vigorous and effective patrolling in the city, checked 104 vehicles, more than 97 thousands motor bikes and more than 63 thousands persons.
As many as eight motor bikes were impounded and 35 persons were detained in different police stations owing to incomplete documents whereas disciplinary action was taken against responsible persons.
Dolphin and PRU wings showed immediate response to the all 745 calls received on helpline 15.
As many as four bikes and 12 mobile phones were recovered from the criminals during action. Dolphin Squad and PRU also arrested nine criminals for violating one wheeling and kite flying.
