LAHORE– Shehzad Mehmood Gondal, a BS-19 officer from the Inland Revenue Service (IRS), has been appointed Additional Commissioner Inland Large Taxpayer Unit Lahore.
Mr Gondal was transferred from the post of Secretary Federal Board of Revenue (Headquarters) Islamabad on Tuesday, said a notification issued by the Revenue Division, Federal Board Revenue (FBR).
Mr Gondal, who has earlier served the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) for several years and is considered among a team of pioneers who raised the authority, is the younger son of late Senior Superintendent of Police Zahid Mehmood Gondal.
He has served PRA as Accountant Member, Appellate Tribunal, Commissioner (Enforcement & Legal) and additional Commissioner Enforcement.
Mr Gonal belongs to 30th Common of the Civil Service of Pakistan and is an upright, professional and hardworking officer.— LAHORE MIRROR
