The Association also expressed hope that the government and the concerned authorities would extend all cooperation to make the upcoming exhibition successful.

The participants also discussed in details the difficulties being faced by the carpet industry besides the closing down the boundaries of the countries after the outbreak of corona virus.

The participants also decided to utilize all available resources to make the upcoming exhibition a big hit so that it would help the industry to get on its feet.

They also discussed the proposed month September for holding the exhibition and it is also decided the final date will be announced after getting proposals.

Sheikh Aamer Khalid Saeed said India deliberately announced its exhibition date on the very same day announced by PCMEA for exhibition in Pakistan and this kind of clash on dates would create undue hurdles for the foreign participants.

He said it is their utmost duty to announce the final date as soon as possible so that they could start contacting the foreign investors and buyers.

He also expressed his hope that the government would issue funds in this regard as earlier as possible so that PCMEA could offer better hospitality package to foreign participants to ensure their participation to make the upcoming exhibition successful.
