LAHORE MIRROR — The inflow of overseas workers’ remittances into Pakistan stood at $3.6 billion in September 2026, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) data showed on Friday.
Remittances showed 12.7% increase on a year-on-year basis from $3.2 billion recorded in September 2025.
Meanwhile, it recorded a 1.9% decrease on a month-on-month basis from $3.7 billion in August 2026.
In September 2026, workers’ remittances recorded an inflow of US$ 3.6 billion showing an increase of 12.7 percent on y/y basis and decrease of 1.9 percent on m/m basis.

Cumulatively, workers’ remittances increased by 14.74% during Jul-Sept FY27 to $10.9 billion, compared to $9.5 billion received during the same period last fiscal year.
