LAHORE–Vice Chairperson Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) has nominated spokespersons to represent OPC and Pakistanis in four countries which include UK, China, Japan and Canada.
Vice chairperson nominated Mr. Muhammad Naeem Naqshbandi from UK, Mr. Muhammad Ramzan from China, Syed Ahmad Faraz Bukhari from Japan and Ms, Saiqa Syedaf rom Canada to perform their duties on honourary basis.
They will be organizing events and meetings in their respective countries on behalf of Overseas Pakistanis Commission promoting soft image of Pakistan through mainstream media.
Ch. Waseem Akhtar while endorsing this step said that these spokespersons will not just act as communication bridge between Overseas Pakistanis Commission and Overseas Pakistanis living abroad but will also help in cultivating the positive image of Pakistan on international forums.
Pakistani expatriates love Prime Minister Imran Khan and are eager to participate in the development and prosperity of their motherland.
Spokespersons of OPC will also be appointed in other countries soon, he added. Commissioner Overseas Pakistanis Commission Syed Javed Iqbal Bokhari also lauded the nomination of Spokespersons in these countries.
This step will help changing the perception of Pakistan globally and will help in resolving complaints efficiently, he said.— PRESS RELEASE
