NHMP Uthal Sector Launches Tree Plantation Campaign

UTHAL (BALOCHISTAN)– Motorway Police, Uthal Sector launched tree plantation campaign “Clean & Green Pakistan” by planting a sapling at the Winder Sector on RCD highways, said Sector Commander Shah Asad Khan while planting a sapling with the coordination of Lasbela forest department & NHA on Wednesday.

Advisor to the Balochistan Chief Minister On Minorities Dainesh Pilani, DC Lasbela Hassan Waqar Cheema, DFO Maqbool Hussain Dashti and DSP Masroor Ch were present on the occasion.  

Following the directions the green and clean Lesbela campaign has been launched from Winder to Uthal. Sector commander Motorway Police Shah Asad informed that from Winder to Uthal 10,000 plants were implanted in the first stage while in 2nd stage 5 Thousand plants will be further planted.

He also appreciated the efforts of Forest Department Officer Maqbool Hassan Dashti who played a central role in making this campaign a success. He further informed that motorway Police will also look after these newly implanted saplings.

Sector commander Shah Asad Khan also informed that motorway police has devised mechanism to water these plants in order to make beat and camp areas green and clean.

He said that the purpose of the campaign was to motivate people to plant more and more saplings as trees play an important role in keeping the environment clean and helps make economic gains.

“It is our collective responsibility to take an active part in this campaign by planting the maximum number of trees”, the SP Shah Asad said and added that trees provided different fruits and shade so that such plants should be sown which could provide both benefits.

He appealed to people to plant trees in their homes and actively participate in this national cause. On this occasion Baluchistan Provincial Minister for Minorities Dainseh Pilani appreciated the working of motorway police while ensuring the further cooperation on the behalf of provincial government.— PRESS RELEASE
