LWMC, Govt Depts Discuss Cleanliness Operation During Eidul Azha in Lahore


LAHORE–On the directions of the Chief Minister Punjab, Chairman Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) Riaz Hameed Chaudhary Monday chaired an important meeting with respect to cleanliness operation on upcoming Eidul Azha.

Senior Political leader of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf Mr. Ijaz Chaudhary, Chairman PHA, Vice Chairman Wasa, MD LWMC, DMD LWMC, GM Operations LWMC, spokesperson LWMC, Turk contractors and officials from Pakistan Railway, EPA, Commissioner Office, City Traffic Police, MCL and other officials participated in the meeting.

The objective of the meeting was to resolve all issues with mutual consent faced by LWMC and Turk contractors during Eid Ul Azha. Chairman LWMC appealed all departments for collaborative efforts and support during Eid Ul Azha for successful cleanliness operation in the provincial capital.

The Chairman LWMC stated that Lahore is our home and providing effective cleanliness is our top most priority, he added that our Turk contractors are using all of their resources, machinery and man power in the field. LWMC has been collecting more than 50,000 tons of waste during 3 days of Eid Ul Azha and even on this year LWMC with the help of its implementing partners and other departments will provide exceptional cleanliness services to the citizens of Lahore.

Senior Political leader of Paksitan Tahreek-e-Insaf Mr. Ijaz Chaudhary stated that LWMC performance in the city has been commendable, their workers are doing one of the most difficult job and they should must be acknowledged and supported by public.
