Ist Jinnah Satellite Filter Clinic Inaugurated In Wahdat Colony
LAHORE– Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid inaugurated first Jinnah Satellite filter clinic in Wahdat Colony Lahore on Tuesday.
Secretary SH&ME Nabeel Ahmad Awan, Secretary P&SH Captain (retired) Muhammad Usman, DG Food Authority Punjab Irfan Memon, MD Punjab Health Foundation Kiran Khursheed, Principal Allama Iqbal Medical College Prof. Dr. Arif Tajamul, MS Jinnah Hospital Dr. Iftikhar, CEO Dr. Shoaib Gurmani and other officers were also present on this occasion.
Dr Yasmin Rashid inquired from the patients about treatment facilities being provided at Jinnah Satellite Filter Clinic.
Dr Yasmin Rashid while addressing the participants during the inaugural ceremony said that according to Sehat Insaf Access Programme first Jinnah Satellite Filter Clinic has become functional. Patients through this satellite filter clinic can get facilities of mother & childcare, peads, medicines, inspection of eyes, laboratories and surgery.
Patients will be provided 24 hours service through these satellite filter clinics and their scope will be stretched across Punjab, she added. During the tenure of PTI government patients will be provided best medical facilities by functionalizing all filter clinics.
Patients visiting these clinics will be referred to big hospitals on being diagnosed of serious disease. The rush of patients will be reduced in big hospitals due to these filter clinics.
According to the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, Jinnah Satellite Filter Clinic has been formally inaugurated, she maintained.
Initially after opening of this filter clinic, more filter clinics will be started in Township and Sabzazar areas.
Specialists of five departments will perform their duties besides medical officers in Jinnah Satellite Filter Clinic at Wahdat Colony and provision of medicines and other healthcare facilities will also be ensured over there, concluded Dr Yasmin Rashid.— PRESS RELEASE
