LAHORE MIRROR — Two more sisters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, Noreen Niazi and Uzma Khan, have been detained for 30 days under the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) law.
The two women have been shifted to Kot Lakhpat Jail, according to officials.
The detention orders were issued by the Lahore Deputy Commissioner on the recommendation of police. The authorities said both women were detained under Section 3 of the MPO.
The development comes a day after Imran Khan’s third sister, Aleema Khan, was also detained under the same law and transferred to Kot Lakhpat Jail.
The detentions follow recent political developments involving PTI and its leadership.
