CM Punjab Buzdar Meets Newly-Appointed Field Officers at Eight Club

-- Issues them necessary directives to serve masses and expresses good wishes

LAHORE– Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar invited the newly-appointed Commissioners, Regional Police Officers, Deputy Commissioners and District Police Officers to his office on Wednesday and issued necessary directives.

On Tuesday night, the provincial government had posted one commissioner, five DCs, three RPOs and nine DPOs in a major reshuffle.

The chief minister wished all officers good luck and advised them to serve public in their respective regions and districts with an aim to improve governance and public service delivery.

This is agenda of the PTI government to serve masses and I hope you people will come up to the expectations of the people of their areas, CM wished while speaking to public servants.

The CM also held separate meetings with the officers region-wise and gave them some key directions. Chief Secretary Jawwad Rafique Malik and Inspector General of Punjab Police Shoaib Dastgir were also present.

Those who attended the gathering were Commissioner Multan region Javed Akhtar Mehmood, RPO Dera Ghazi Khan Captain (retired) Muhammad Faisal Rana, RPO Sahiwal Tariq Abbas Qureshi, Capital City Police Officer Lahore Muhammad Umar Sheikh, DC Sialkot Zeeshan Javaid, DC Gujrat Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, DC Mandi Bahauddin Tariq Ali Basra, DC Toba Tek Singh Umer Javed, DPO Gujrat Muhammad Umar Farooq Salatmat, DPO Chiniot Bilal Zafar Sheikh and others.

At a separate meeting with RPO D G Khan Faisal Rana and DPO Muzaffargarh Muhammad Hassan Iqbal, CM Buzdar asked them to go for extra ordinary measures to prevent crime against property and ensure peace in the entire region that comprises D G Khan, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh and Layyah.
