Bilawal Says Authorities Begin With ‘PM-Select’ If Professional Beggars Are To Be Arrested
LAHORE MIRROR (Monitoring Desk)– Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has urged concerned authorities in Islamabad to begin with “prime minister-select”, if they actually wanted to arrest “professional beggars”.
The PPP leader was responding to a Twitter post from the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad about action against professional beggars in the federal capital’s F-10 and F-11 sectors.
“This government intends to get rid of the poor, instead of poverty,” the PPP chairman said in his tweet.
“If professional beggars are to be arrested actually, then start with PM-select.
The capital administration has swung into action after Professional beggars have swarmed Islamabad like many other major cities of the country with the arrival of holy month of Ramadan, making it difficult for citizens to stop over at public places and food joints.
A crackdown has been initiated against such beggars in the federal capital.— LAHORE MIRROR
