LAHORE– Commissioner Lahore Division Muhammad Asif Bilal Lodhi Friday said that if there is no change in nomenclature and cost of a development scheme it could be considered for approval.
He said that top priority must be maintained in standards of development schemes and completion of scheme within time limit.
He uttered those words while chairing a Divisional Development Working Committee meeting regarding review of development schemes.
The committee approved six schemes for rehabilitation of four roads of Kasur and Nankana Sahib, measuring 6 km in total. Commissioner Lahore Division also deferred a scheme because exact calculation on one part of a scheme was not presented.
He said that he would himself visit to check the rehabilitated work. He also added that safety signage on roads must be installed keeping in view of roads, area and population.
