LAHORE MIRROR — Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel has strongly responded to social media speculation linking her romantically with Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya.
Patel and Pandya were recently spotted together at a private event at Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Palace, where the actress was seen introducing the cricketer to some of her friends. A video from the gathering subsequently went viral on social media, showing the two together.
A social media user reshared the video and claimed that Patel placing her hand on Pandya’s shoulder was a sign of a possible romantic relationship between the two, suggesting that the rumours circulating online were turning out to be true.

Patel shared a screenshot of the post on her Instagram Story and responded sarcastically, writing, “Yes, it was indeed very romantic that I had my hand on Hardik.”
The actress went on to say that she did not even know the user and suggested that he appeared to be interpreting an ordinary meeting between friends as something romantic. She sarcastically remarked that perhaps the user did not have any female friends, which was why he was giving a romantic angle to a normal interaction between friends.
According to Indian media reports, Pandya has also been linked romantically with model Mahieka Sharma. Pandya was previously married to actress Natasa Stankovic, but their marriage ended in divorce. The former couple have a son together.
