LAHORE– The administration of General Bus Stand Badami Bagh ensured implementation on COVID-19 SOPs under obligatory regime on Thursday.
On the instructions of the Lahore Commissioner, Administrator Ahmad Raza Butt and team kept ensuring implementation on SOPs among drivers, conductors and passengers.
He visited different areas and boarded buses to check vaccination certificate and use of masks.
Butt told Lahore Mirror that special check points have been established at exit points of bus stands and at each ticket booth separate register is being maintained to record vaccination status of passengers.
He said no passenger has been allowed to board in bus without showing their vaccination certificate or message on cell phone, no bus is allowed to move out without masks, 50 percent seating is being ensured.
The administrator said four buses were impounded and Rs20,000 fine was imposed on drivers over violations.
