ACE Punjab Swings Into Action Against Corrupt Officials, Arrests Four


LAHORE– The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab has initiated action against proclaimed offenders and corrupt elements in the government departments, arresting four officials including a police ASI.

Director General ACE Gohar Nafees has issued instructions to all regional directors to take action without any discrimination against the corrupt elements.

He directed to accelerate the efforts for nabbing proclaimed offender and corrupt government officers and officials and should not take any action in this regard.

The Anti-Corruption Lahore while taking action has apprehended ASI Shahdra Imran Tahir red-handed when he was receiving bribe.

In another action, the Anti-Corruption Lahore headquarters have arrested a Patwari of the irrigation department namely Zufliqar Ali who was proclaimed offender since 2012.

The Anti-Corruption Bahawalpur have arrested proclaimed offender Muhammad Iqbal Zaman, Mukhtiar, Khuda Bakhsh and Ghulam Yaseen.

Accused had sold out 20 kanal 18 marla land on fake transfer letter.
