LAHORE MIRROR — The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has increased electricity prices by Rs2.37 per unit under the monthly fuel price adjustment for September 2026.
NEPRA has issued an official notification confirming the increase in electricity price, which will be reflected in consumers’ electricity bills for November.
According to the notification, the additional charges will also apply to consumers of K-Electric.
It is worth noting that the Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) had requested a higher increase of Rs2.56 per unit under the September fuel price adjustment.
The approved increase of Rs2.37 per unit will therefore place an additional financial burden on electricity consumers across the country.
