LAHORE MIRROR — Police have arrested Jawad Ali, husband of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters) Rawalpindi Maliha Sehr, on allegations of assaulting his wife and sent him to jail on judicial remand.
A case was registered against Jawad at the Women Police Station, Rawalpindi, on the complaint of Rawalpindi ADC Maliha Sehr, who alleged that her husband had subjected her to physical violence.
Police arrested the accused and produced him before the court. The court subsequently sent Jawad Ali to jail on 14-day judicial remand.
Further investigation into the case is under way.
