Tehran- The United States and Israel have attacked Iran. An initial strike was carried out near the offices of Ayatollah Khamenei, and the presidential office was also targeted. Missiles were fired at 30 locations from sea and air, including Tehran and several other cities. In Minab, 53 people, including schoolgirls, were killed in an attack on a school. Iran has launched a retaliatory operation named Fatah Khyber, causing Israel to echo with explosions.

The United States and Israel are carrying out attacks on Iran, while Iran is responding forcefully. Britain has clarified that it is not involved in the attack. Germany stated that it had prior knowledge of the strike, while Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry announced support for the Iranian people.

A British news agency reported that several senior commanders and political officials of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were killed in the U.S.-Israeli attacks.

    Israel attacks Iraq as well

With U.S. backing, Israel also attacked Iraq. In Baghdad, an Israeli strike on the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) headquarters killed one person and injured three, and air operations have been suspended.

    Iran’s retaliatory ballistic missile attack

Iran has launched an operation named Fatah Khyber against Israel. Seventy-five missiles were fired at Israel, including ballistic missiles. Sirens sounded across Israel. Explosions were heard in the northern Israeli area of Haifa, and also in occupied Jerusalem.

According to Arab media, northern Israel echoed with explosions. Iran launched large numbers of drones and missiles. Explosions were heard in the capital, Tel Aviv.

Arab media reported explosions in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Iranian missiles were intercepted in Qatari airspace. Loud explosions were heard in Abu Dhabi and in Bahrain, where the U.S. base and the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet were targeted.

According to a Qatari broadcaster, explosions were also heard in Kuwait, and further blasts occurred in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Iranian officials confirmed that missiles were fired at five major U.S. military bases in retaliation, including Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar and Al Salem Base in Kuwait.

Al Dhafra Air Base in the UAE was also targeted, along with the U.S. base in Bahrain and King Hussein Air Base in Jordan. After the Iranian strikes, sirens continued to sound in Kuwait, Bahrain, and the UAE, and an Asian national was reportedly killed in the UAE.

Bahraini authorities confirmed that the service center of the U.S. Fifth Fleet was targeted in a missile attack. U.S. diplomatic staff in Bahrain were moved to shelters, and Gulf countries closed their airspace.

Further explosions were heard in Doha, and reports said Abu Dhabi’s main airport was also targeted.

The head of Iran’s National Security Committee said, “We warned the United States. You have begun an action whose end is no longer in your control. All U.S. bases are within Iran’s reach.”

“Every U.S. base in the region will be targeted”: Iran

Iran’s Foreign Ministry stated that the United States once again attacked during negotiations. U.S. and Israeli strikes targeted military and defense sites as well as civilian installations in various cities.

Iran’s Foreign Minister said Iran will continue to defend itself and that all U.S. military bases in the region will be targeted.

Saudi Arabia strongly condemned Iranian attacks on the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, and Kuwait.

    U.S. and Israeli attack

According to Tasnim’s governor, an Israeli bombing of a girls’ school in the Iranian city of Minab killed 53 people, including students.

Iranian media reported that the U.S. and Israel targeted 30 locations in Iran. The first wave of attacks focused on Iranian leadership. The initial strike targeted the office of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Explosions were heard in several areas of Tehran, including University Street, where multiple missiles fell. After attacks on military centers, thousands of Revolutionary Guard members were reportedly killed or injured.

The United States and Israel targeted multiple ministry offices in southern Tehran. Iran was attacked from both sea and air. Explosions were also heard in Nuristan and Tabriz, and two major attacks were carried out in Qom, home to the largest Shia seminary.

Iranian authorities said they are preparing a devastating response. Iranian defense systems are intercepting Israeli and U.S. missiles. Iran’s Supreme Leader and President are safe. U.S. President Trump said a major operation against Iran has begun and may continue for several days.

The Lebanese Prime Minister said Lebanon’s peace and security would not be jeopardized. Russian officials stated that U.S. negotiations were merely a sham.

Iranian media said U.S. and Israeli strikes targeted Ayatollah Khamenei’s central office and the presidential office. After Tehran, explosions were heard in Isfahan, Qom, Karaj, and Kermanshah.

Israel attacked the Iranian city of Bushehr and targeted a nuclear power plant. Dozens of Tomahawk missiles were fired at Iran. The Ministry of Intelligence in Tehran was also targeted, along with cyberattacks on Iranian news agencies. Kharg Island and Chabahar port were also attacked.

    Supreme Leader and President safe

The attack occurred during school and office hours. Seven missiles fell near the presidential palace and the Supreme Leader’s compound.

Earlier, three explosions were reported in central Tehran. Tehran University Avenue and the Jomhuri area were hit by missiles. Mehrabad Airport was also attacked, and Iranian airspace has been closed. Iraq has also closed its airspace.

Iran’s Ministry of Health said hospitals are on alert and the number of injured will be announced after verification.

Phone and internet services in Iran have been suspended. The stock market has crashed and trading halted. Citizens are leaving Tehran, and long lines have formed at petrol pumps.

According to Reuters, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is no longer in Tehran and has been moved to a secure location. The U.S. Embassy in Qatar has moved staff to shelters.

A Qatari broadcaster reported that U.S. officials confirmed American participation in the attack. The U.S. and Israel jointly carried out the strikes as part of a coordinated military operation planned months in advance.

U.S. officials said the joint airstrikes aim to eliminate Iran’s security capabilities.

    Explosions in occupied Jerusalem

Explosions were also heard in occupied Jerusalem. Israeli military officials closed schools nationwide, instructed people to work from home, and banned public gatherings. Sirens sounded across Israel.

Israel’s Defense Minister claimed that Israel launched a preemptive defensive strike against Iran. A state of emergency has been declared, and citizens have been instructed to remain in underground bunkers.

Pakistani citizens advised to avoid travel

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry issued a travel advisory urging citizens to avoid all travel to Iran. Pakistanis in Iran were advised to remain cautious, avoid unnecessary movement, and stay in contact with diplomatic missions. Helpline numbers have been issued.

“Operation against Iran has begun, may continue for days”: Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump said the goal is to ensure the security of the American people and eliminate threats posed by the Iranian regime. He said Iran can never obtain nuclear weapons and that a major military strike had been carried out.

Trump stated that American lives could also be lost in the attack and called on Iran’s Revolutionary Guards to surrender, promising they would be treated well. He said the U.S. would destroy Iran’s navy and missile program and had tried extensively to reach a deal with Iran.

Notably, talks between the U.S. and Iran were held in Geneva just a day earlier, where both sides agreed to continue negotiations. Previously, the U.S. and Israel also attacked Iran during ongoing negotiations. This marks the second attack on Iran by the U.S. and Israel within a year.

    PIA suspends Gulf flight operations

Due to the evolving Middle East situation, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has suspended operations to Gulf countries.

Flights to the UAE, Bahrain, Doha, and Kuwait have been suspended until at least tomorrow evening or until airspace reopens.

Flights to Saudi Arabia will continue but on altered routes. Boeing 777 aircraft will operate via longer routes.

According to a PIA spokesperson, further decisions on resuming or suspending operations will be made after reviewing the situation in the region.
