Rawalpindi: Security forces killed 35 terrorists of “Fitna Al-Hindustan” during operations in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while 12 soldiers embraced martyrdom during the operations.
According to ISPR, the military’s media wing, security forces conducted two different operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from 10th to 13th September, during which the hideouts of the Khawarij were effectively targeted.
According to ISPR, 35 terrorists of the Indian proxy “Fitna Al-Khawarij” were killed in the operations, and weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed Khawarij.
According to the public relations wing, the forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Bajaur after receiving information about the presence of Khawarij; in a heavy exchange of fire, 22 Khawarij working under Indian patronage were killed.
Security forces also conducted operations against the Khawarij in Waziristan, in which 13 more Khawarij were killed. The killed Khawarij were involved in several terrorist activities.
According to ISPR, 12 brave sons of the motherland were also martyred in the intense exchange of fire.
Use of Afghan soil against Pakistan remains a matter of concern: ISPR
The military’s public relations department stated that intelligence reports confirmed the involvement of Afghan nationals in this heinous act. The continued use of Afghan soil against Pakistan by Fitna Al-Khawarij remains a serious concern. Pakistan expects the Afghan interim government to fulfill its responsibilities.
ISPR has expressed hope that Afghanistan will not allow its soil to be used for anti-Pakistan terrorist activities. Clearance operations continue for the elimination of any Indian-sponsored Khawarij present in the region. Security forces are determined to root out the menace of terrorism from the country.
